Team Australia secures entry for combined Women’s and Youth America’s Cup Challenge

Australia has been confirmed by the organisers of the 37th America’s Cup as one of the 12 national Youth and Women’s America’s Cup teams in Barcelona 2024 scoring entry for a youth team (under 25) alongside the history making first women’s competition.

Portland Yacht Club Wins Women's Participation Initiative of the Year

Portland Yacht Club’s Britta Baade has seen women’s confidence on the water flourish through its SheSails program. The program was recognised at the 2023 South West Community Sports Awards on Wednesday night, with the club awarded women’s participation initiative of the year. Baade said the award meant a lot to the club and for women’s sailing in general.

Queenscliff Cruising Yacht Club (QCYC) is gearing up for its annual Queenscliff Cup and Commodore’s Trophy regatta to be contested over the Easter weekend 8-10 April 2023, an inclusive event, providing five races in an Open Division (Division 1) for the Queenscliff Cup with the additional opportunity for female regatta crew to take the helm for two designated races to contest the Commodore’s Trophy (Division 2) within the race schedule.
