What’s On in July — Sail Our Way

Sail Our Way continues this July with clubs around the country delivering programs that support women and girls to build on their existing skills, gain valuable on-water experience and enjoy being part of an inclusive sailing community.
Here’s a look at the Sail Our Way events happening in July:
Sat 25 July 2026 | Sail Our Way Women on Water RS21 Sailing Experience
Royal Geelong Yacht Club, VIC | 12:00 - 13:30
As part of the Women on Water Sailing Development Program, this RS21 Sailing Experience provides women with the opportunity to further develop their sailing skills aboard the club's RS21 keelboats. The coached session focuses on boat handling, teamwork and confidence in a fun and supportive environment, making it suitable for sailors looking to continue their progression on the water. These two days are provided free-of-charge to all course participants courtesy of Australian Sailing's Sail Our Way program.

Tue 07 Jul 2026 & Thu 30 Jul 2026 | Sail Our Way KISS (Keelboat Introduction to Sailing Savvy) Women's Training Program | Ocean Racing Club of Victoria, VIC
The KISS (Keelboat Introduction to Sailing Savvy) Women's Training Program continues throughout July, supporting women to build confidence and capability in offshore and keelboat sailing. Through a combination of practical on-water experience and mentoring, participants develop sailing knowledge while connecting with a welcoming community of female sailors.

Sat 11 July 2026 | Sail Our Way Girls to the Front Program
Royal Freshwater Bay Yacht Club, WA
The Girls to the Front Program continues this July, supporting girls and young women aged 7–30 to build confidence, develop their sailing skills and connect with others in a supportive, female-focused environment. Delivered across multiple sessions, the program includes fleet racing, on-water coaching and skill development opportunities, with participants sailing a range of classes including Pacers, ILCA, 29er, 420, iQFOiL and windsurfers.
