Tas SheSails Reps Quarterly Catch Up – 5:45pm Tuesday May 24th

Published Thu 19 May 2022

On Tuesday, May 24th at 5:45pm Tas SheSails representatives will meet for their quarterly online meeting. This is a great space for the ever-growing Tasmanian SheSails Community to network and hear what is happening in the SheSails space around the state, as well as nationally.

We are excited to have Sue Phillips, National Participation and Inclusion Coordinator & Gemma Burns, NSW Club Support Officer join us for our third meeting as a group. Sue will be introducing her new role as National Participation and Inclusion Coordinator and what this means for our Tas SheSails representatives. Gemma will provide us with an insight into how SheSails has taken off in NSW, providing some ideas into what Tassie representatives can do to kick things off at their club.

The AS Club Conference is coming up on May 28th, 2022, in Launceston. We are excited to announce that our newest SheSails network member, Alison Merridew will be presenting at the AS Club Conference. Alison will be presenting on how to improve gender equity in clubs to create a more inclusive community. For more details go to the AS Club Conference event page HERE.
