Registrations are now open for the 2025 SheSails International Conference as part of World Sailing’s Steering the Course festival for women in sailing, set to celebrate and elevate women in sailing with a powerful lineup of international and Australian speakers.
The virtual conference will be delivered via webinar at 7:00pm (AEDT) on Monday 20 October 2025, bringing together leaders, trailblazers, and changemakers from across the sport.
With the theme “Mentoring and Accelerating Action", this year’s conference will explore how mentoring can open doors, fast-track opportunities, and build pathways for women and girls to thrive across all areas of sailing.
The 2025 keynote lineup includes:
-
Sharon Ferris-Choat – Olympian, offshore sailor, and global advocate for women in high-performance sailing. The first woman to win an around the world race. With over two decades of international competition, Sharon leads the SharonSails campaign and is committed to mentoring the next generation of offshore sailors.
-
Jazz Turner – the first disabled sailor to sail solo around the UK, whose journey is inspiring sailors worldwide to challenge perceptions and push boundaries.
-
Victoria Low – CEO of The Magenta Project, leading its highly successful global mentoring program for sailors, race officials, and volunteers. Victoria will share insights on building networks, accelerating development, and ensuring more women reach leadership positions in sailing.
-
Arisa Moriya – a Magenta Project mentee and rising star, representing the new wave of female sailors making their mark on the global stage.
Now in its fourth year, the SheSails International Conference has grown to become one of the most significant gatherings for women in sailing. Last year, hundreds of participants from across Australia and beyond tuned in, making it the most attended SheSails event to date.
The 2025 webinar will continue to build momentum, with discussions centred on mentoring, leadership pathways, and how to create opportunities for women and girls to thrive at every level of the sport.
