We are delighted to welcome Fiona McManus to the speaker line-up for the 2026 SheSails International Conference.

Fiona has long been involved in creating opportunities for women and girls to get involved in sailing across the Northern Territory. Since 2020, she has played an important role in the Northern Territory Women’s Regatta, helping to grow an event that brings together female sailors from across the region to race, connect and build their skills.

She is also a long-time competitor at the Australian Women’s Keelboat Regatta, having taken part in the event for around 12 years. Over that time, Fiona has encouraged many other women from the Northern Territory to join her.

Closer to home, Fiona competes in seasonal racing through Darwin Sailing Club and Dinah Beach Cruising Yacht Association aboard her S80, Calypso, predominantly with an all-female crew. She regularly welcomes new and developing sailors on board, giving them the opportunity to gain experience, build confidence and become more involved in club racing.
